and live look outside at windy conditions in oakland. first alert meteorologist paul hagan tracking those conditions. >> the good news is right now, those are mostly onshore winds but as the storm system dives down to the great basin, it is going to pivot those winds. this is the inside slider we have been talking about. so named because it slides in from the north inside the coast line and once it is pretty much to our east is when the winds shift from the onshore direction that dropped our temperatures today, to the off shore direction that is going to drag lower humidity levels into the bay area and you can see it lurking to the north of fair field right now where that cut-off line between low humidity level, 20 and 30%, shade of brown. but lower than 15, 10%, that's where you get this whitish-gray area through much of the central valley and continue making its way farther to the south as the off shore winds begin to develop. for higher elevations of napa and solano counties and the winds are going to get gusty tonight. 40-mile-an-hou

in oakland's chinatown. a petition to rename the park after chan was signed by 370 people and supported by community leaders. some daredevils repelled 300 ft down the side of the hilton in san francisco today, the they were doing this to raise money for the nonprofit outward bound california about 70 people took part in the so called city skyline challenge, as you saw in that video earlier, including they went down 26 floors, all in full costume. the money raised helps to fund camping trips and other outdoor events for children in california. the organization says about two thirds of the children in the outward bound program are on scholarships, and today's event raises money to help fund those much needed scholarships. and they were probably up above us some fog today as we had some low cloud cover and some high clouds rolling into the bay area, all linked up with a cooler pattern change. you probably noticed the cool down, especially inland. and this pattern wants to stick around into the weekend and into

and in oakland, police are investigating how a body ended up near tilden park. a witness reported the victim had been wrapped in plastic. police determined the person had been shot as our kron four's haaziq mod-yoon reports for us tonight. this is the second body found like this in the city in just this week. >> a gruesome discovery, a body wrapped in a plastic bag found on the side of the road. that is how the call came into 9-1-1. dispatch. it happened sunday at around 07:15pm, here on grizzly peak boulevard at clermont near the border of berkeley and oakland. the initial call came in to berkeley police who later determined the body was in oakland territory. it had to the case over to opd investigators. officials at opd say upon arrival there officers found a male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. the men whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kid was pronounced dead at the scene. this stretch of grizzly peak is a non-residential area, although it is well traveled by vehicles. bicyclists and joggers is likely someone like that made
