six dan: let's move on. a 15-year-old girl is back home recovering after being shot with a pellet gun near valley fair mall in san jose. it caused internal bleeding, a collapsed young -- collapsed lung. >> it almost killed me. the bullet was an inch away from my heart, and it can cause real damage with real consequences. i want people to be aware of that. reporter: this 15-year-old understands things could have been worse, and is still in shock after being shot with a pellet gun. she and her friend were walking to the mall friday. they reached monroe street when someone shot her from behind. >> i was super confused because oath of us heard a noise, and i turned around, that was weird -- then i saw a car speeding away. reporter: she started to feel pain and shortness of breath. when her friend checked her back , she noticed blood coming from a small hole. she was rushed to the medical center. she spent time in the icu and was discharged days later with the pellet still inside of her where it will remain. >> i
