scott weiner is renewing his push to extend drinking hours in california. today wiener and assemblyman matt haney introduced legislation that will allow bars and nightclubs along with restaurants to sell alcohol until four in the morning. the extended hours would only be permitted in seven pilot cities including san francisco and oakland. when you think of why people move to cities there are many reasons and one of them is that they want to have vibrant nightlife. they want to be able to have fun and enjoy themselves. throughout dancing go out for a drink and and it really really matters. keep in mind the legislation would not allow liquor stores to stay open later similar legislation officer wiener passed back in 2018, but then governor jerry brown vetoed it citing with the chp saying it would lead to more drunk driving. alright, it's time now to get a check on. it go once again watching it closely all eyes on the weekend and the timing should be pretty good for us to dodge that rain. i really think so, and i really hope so, but it's nice to have no matter
