still here in the bay area. and after every single storm. well, things the way they are now we've got more issues on the way out there tonight that it is cloudy, a continuing, but we've got a storm system off the coastline that is going to bring some more heavy rainfall. not that far away. the national weather service change the watches to warnings tonight that will extend until 10:30pm, tonight flood warnings in effect, expecting the possibility of more flooding all around the bay area. flood watches continue until tomorrow afternoon. we're watching the russian river very closely expected to crest around 32.9 feet that watershed there. they've had over 2, even 3 inches of rainfall and all that water is going to work its way down the hill. so that river expected to crest somewhere right around midnight tonight and into early tomorrow morning. also, the russian river hop lynn expected to crest right around 15.2 feet. minor flooding expected there, but we could see another rise in those rivers and we get another storm system. in fact, that's e

across the bay area, this is for saturday. a quarter to about one inch for most of us except for guerneville. they're going to be two-plus inches. we add on sunday's totals and overall for this storm system, we're looking for anywhere from one to three inches on average. those bull's-eyes right up towards the north bay and the santa cruz mountains except for guerneville. notice that. it's in that gray color. that's going to be four-plus inches. i have those flood details here coming up momentarily. but i also wanted to let you know with this weekend's storm, winds are going to be gusty as well. 20 to 50 miles per hour on and off saturday through sunday. so this may bring down more trees as well. just something we're going to have to watch out for with each and every one of these storms. when it comes to the russian river here in guerneville, we get constant updates on this. it's always giving us that latest data, and we're at 26 feet tomorrow, below flood stage. but we still think it will go up to 35.8 feet late sunday and mon

we've been getting some rain here in the bay area. not any kind of wind like that, but as we've looked at the past 24-hour rainfall totals we've gotten about an inch of rain in hayward, a little more in oakland and about an inch in san francisco. the north bay already measuring up another 2 inches of rainfall and over 3 inches in the santa cruz mountains. we know it's still coming down but the storms are still lining up as we see wave after wave of these areas of low pressure tapping into the deep tropical moisture and bringing it right into our area. so as we get a closer look, some pockets of heavier rain, but it's been pretty steady and widespread as we start out this morning making the commute very slippery, we are seeing heavier rain just off the coast, and that's going to be moving into san francisco as well as the coastline near half moon bay over the next couple of minutes. we're also going to see some of the heavier rain starting to shift from parts of the north bay into the south bay. look at 10:00, we're starting to get a b
