drew levinson is here in new york with that and more. good morning. >> good morning. overseas stocks continue to slide. tokyo's nikkei lost less than half a percent. hong kong's hang seng fell more than 1%. >>> wall street's longest slump of 2012 continued tuesday with the worst day of the year. the dow fell for a fifth straight day losing 213 points. nasdaq lost nearly 2%, falling 55 points. investors got good news after the markets closed. aluminum manufacturer alocoa reported larger than expected profits in the first quarter. alocoa sells aluminum to a wide range of companies and is often considered an indicator of where the economy is headed. >>> problems continue to pile up for best buy. ceo brian dunn abruptly resigned on tuesday after the company launched an investigation into his personal conduct. news of the investigation turned off investors. best buy's shares fell almost 6% yesterday. the electronics chain recently announced it was cutting hundreds of jobs and closing 50 of its big box stores. >>> in a move to deter smartphone theft, major wireless companie
