Re: Search for books by reading level |
abundantmind,
This is a great idea, I have put up a number of children's books, see:
https://archive.org/search.php?query=children%20garthus%20AND%20mediatype%3Atexts
I put a category called 'children' in the keyword field.
In the children records area:
https://archive.org/search.php?query=golden%20record%20garthus
I have to do this for the children's records also, I think there is enough to set up a collection page for children's materials. I actually am working on homeschooling for my daughter so there will be a lot more of these types of materials going up.
I have probably a collection of over 1,000 children's books and records going back to the early 1800's which I will slowly be putting up, but for now I will be concentrating of the materials which could be useful for home schooling. I tried to develop a standard meta data set of categories for my materials, it would be nice if the Archive would be involved in this. I will try to set up the Children's collection page within the next few weeks and if you tell me what types of materials you are interested in I will look through what I have on my shelves as I am about to get into the homeschooling area right now anyway.
Gerry
