To offer a different idea:

Consider uploading each file individually using a csv and the Internet Archive Python Library:

https://archive.org/services/docs/api/internetarchive/

Then items which flag as malware are removed and the rest will remain. Depending on the number of files the staff may be willing to make a collection to group them together.
