The Glenn Miller Orchestra is touring this spring, albeit with all replacements at this point. Still a great concert to catch; I saw them about 10 years ago. (And if we're keeping score I'll go with Pennsylvania 6-5000 as my favorite Glenn Miller hit song.)

Cool the Grateful Dead will probably be like that 50 more years from now.
and I would like hearing Dead tunes to a big band swing.
Being in Florida I will keep an eye out for Glenn Miller as this is retirement city around here.

Took a jazz history class in the mid 60s at UCLA. My teacher played trombone in his band. Great stories. Nowadays I'm more of an Ella fan. 😄
