I was just wondering after listening to a late 80 Deal when was the first time this was played with the jam at the end and not just the instrumental in the middle? Before 80 it seems it's all just them singing over and over at the end wit no jam, does it start in 81, 82? also not only the first one to jam out but first one to really rock out after that.

I love the evolutionary process these thing go through, forming across the years.

thanks for any help!

One of my favorite early-mid 80's Deals:

This one is a chair buster.

one of the acoustic/electric split shows in fall 1980 featured the 1st jammed out Deal. by 11/30/80 they had it nearly perfected.
