Yeah, you know L, my sense of the SugM on Letterman was it was as good as what I wasn't going to in the 90s if that makes sense. Friend that went to MSG is sending me soundbd she purchase so I guess I will find out first hand what that source sounds like, and it did have a great early era setlist! Suppose all those disks I have sent her provide me with some payback...lets hope it's good.

I saw the Sugar on Letterman and was embarrassed and a little sad. I was not expecting much but...Bobby looks like Burt Ives on a camping trip and Phil's bass was made by Hasbro

Actually I did watch that and I thought it sounded better than the Sugar Mags from the '90s shows I saw. I think it was because Jeff was playing a piano and I think for the '70s songs, I still like the Keith sound the best. I know, I know Keith did not play on AB but you get the idea.
