Re: Top 94' and 95' moments |
Just to be clear< I have hundreds of shows on CD and attended well over a hundred shows starting in 86'. I whole heartly agree that the best playing occured well before 94'. I just listen to this stuff so often and for so long I love a little switch from a 72 to a good selection from the late years. Fools me into thinking that I have a wide range of musical tastes. I will agree with the opinion that 83-84 are boring (there are some expections) and mostly 85 but there are few rockin' shows, but not creative ones. just keep thinking of those years as described in Rock scully's book wit Jerry's feet swelling up and living in a dark room watching tv on Persian so yucky!
Hey anyone remember that cheer that went up After the house lights went on at the end of the Hampton Dark star show in 89!!!?
It wasn't the normal end of show cheer that happens after they leave the stage. It happened after the light came on, it was quiet for a bit and them everyone had a second to digest what just happened and let out this joyous collective roar that was more of a communication amoungst overselves then anything else. god i miss that shit.
