The leaning clock of Belfast which would have passers from the Lagan River or the City Centre, had very few people completing their government-issued daily activity. There were more cars and buses then there were people.

A rare occasion to witness a Friday afternoon with the entire Commercial Court empty. This popular location usually gathers groups of locals and tourists to a begin their weekend festivities. Even looking into some of the bars, they still had their St. Patrick decorations up.

A hidden gem between buildings and stores, having local bars and pubs that will have your locals or tourist wondering about trying to figure out where they may be within the city. Or just a casual shortcut between streets, to get to one place just a little quicker. This has been overtaken by the noise of generators and there is no longer any drunken chatter in these passages.

Looking at the Spirit of Belfast, you will know you’re at a local stop for shopping. Most of the time there will be a performer or musician in this circle, grabbing the attention of shoppers, there will be your fast walkers, your slow walkers, those who zoom past you with their bicycle. A starting point for locals and tourists, it points us in different directions to go. Whether that is for shopping, drinking, grabbing a quick snack, or finding local tours. A train is arriving. But not very many people are leaving the train. An anouncement just stops without telling when the train to Neuwied is leaving, kind of significant for the situation. Perhaps there is no 'Abfahrt'... Later the sound for the anouncement is repeted twice, to reassure the listeners? The microphone walks back to the platform that connects all platforms. It is a little bit more busy. A lot of anouncements for other trains are made. There are a lot of suitcases, but different...

Actually the recorded platform also last week was 18. While on the 20th of march an anouncement is to be heard that the train to Bruessels does not leave, there is nothing today. The train is still in the schedule, but it is not anounced anymore. Just silence. What is to be heard are the anouncements for regional trains, in this case to Wächtersbach. The microphone walks through a tunnel to a different platform (11).

The station is not very busy. Some workers of Deutsche Bahn are discussing stuff, there seems not much to do. People pass by, a beggar is asking for money, trains are arriving and leaving. The pigeons are still there and people - but only once - run to catch a train. But again it is quite quiet.
