This week on Occupy Radio we interview Kai Newkirk about 99Rise's determination to get money out of politics, even if they have to occupy the California state capital to do it.

Immediately, after the 2010 Citizens United ruling, author Jeff Clements published a series of predications about the decision's impact. Three year later, his projections have come true. This week on Occupy Radio, we interview Clements about the updates to his book, Corporations Are Not People, and one thing he didn't foresee - the widespread, determined citizen opposition to corporate personhood. --Rivera

The Electoral College. Citizens United. A balanced national budget. What do some of America’s greatest debates have in common? They’re all part of an argument to amend the U.S. Constitution. In 1787 a Constitutional Convention was held, where conventioneers produced the document that established the federal government’s powers and strove to create a “more perfect Union.” Many argue that times have changed dramatically since, and the nation has evolved beyond what our Founding Fathers...

This thesis was the first comprehensive collection of primary sources related to the Article V Convention process. All of the thorough research done from the 1950s through the 1980s on the subject relied heavily on Pullen's information. This includes, in chronological order, comprehensive works by Cyril Brickfield, the American Bar Association, the Department of Justice, and Russell Caplan. More recent work built upon that tradition, making Pullen's thesis foundational to future scholarship....

This report sets forth certain conclusions reached by the Special Constitutional Convention Study Committee of the American Bar Association after conducting a two-year study. The committee was formed to evaluate the ramifications of the constitutional convention method of initiating amendments to the U. S. Constitution as set down in Article 5. It analyzed and studied all aspects of law concerned with calling a national constitutional convention. Particular attention was given to the question...

The 9th issue of The Beacon Spotlight examines the unknown exception to the Tenth Amendment, where no State of the Union was reserved any powers. Understanding this exception allows one to understand how members of Congress and government officials may act in all cases whatsoever with a power which defies imagination and apparent limitation.

Part 1 of the five-part Patriot Corps presentation of Understanding Federal Tyranny provides half of the overview (Part 2 will complete the overview) that explains in general terms how members of Congress and federal officials ignore their constitutional constraints with impunity. Having a framework understood clearly in one's mind before getting to the particulars of an example helps as Parts 3, 4 and 5 begin to examine the specific case of "following the money"--as they look into...

The Beacon Spotlight, Issue 7, seeks to expose the fundamental method by which members of Congress and officials of the federal government use to expand their powers and rule over American citizens with few restrictions. Please consider reading these four short pages which seek to provide a framework which Patriots may use to begin to make Sense out of Government Nonsense, so we may Restore Our American Republic, once and for all. We must learn to differentiate mere symptoms from the underlying...

Part 2 of the 5-part video presentation Understanding Federal Tyranny completes the broad overview began in Part 1, showing how members of Congress and federal officials bypass their constitutional constraints, with impunity from a broad perspective. Parts 3, 4 and 5 will then "follow the money" as they expound upon a specific example to prove true the overview.
