This is a remix of the Albert Kim super light cinewhoop crux3 built. All parts, except for the dampers are made from scratch (the dampers are original). The battery in the back gives a better center of gravity and flies way smoother/more powerfull. The used battery is a Ministar 2s highvoltage (450mah) from chinahobbyline.com. 3D parts I have designed and printed for Donut Cinewhoop 3" frame. Prop ducts supplied with the frame are too fragile and I wanted to have proper GoPro Session mount. Also included holder for VTx antenna (in case VTx is mounted on the rear stack) and Rx antenna tube (last have to be printed twice with mirroring). All parts were printed with TPU, prop ducts with very low infill (10-20%).

For those who are using the excellent Donut prop-guard by ErgoFPV but ignored the instructions and printed them in normal TPU rather than the recommended NinjaTek Armadillo filament, then these protectors will allow you to safely transport the drone without worrying about deforming the guards. This is a set of replacement ducts for the Banggood Donut 3" Cinewhoop drone. I couldn't find a set of replacement ducts that were as light and fit like the original so I modeled my own in Solidworks. Measurements were take from the original set and designed to be as as close to an exact replacement as reasonable. These weigh ~16-18 grams like the original and fit perfectly. My cinewhoop flew horribly and was not fun to fly at all. I tried a few different ducts and did not notice any difference, but after cutting off a set of original ducts, I found that it made a big difference with wind, but did not solve other weird motor spool-ups and wonky handling. I decided to redesign the ducts to have the prop tips at the narrowest opening of the duct, where airflow would be the fastest and air pressure would be the lowest. I did not design case (BetaFPV created it) I just roughed in the Mavic Zoom ND Filter Attachment. I did this quick and has yet to be tested or printed so please let me know if the outer diameter need enlargement or to be cut down a bit, also im not sure how close the lens is on this case so it will have to be tested for vignetting. Please let me know any issues and ill fix them. I personally don't run these filters or case for my 8 myself but this is if someone else needs it. Thx

EDITED: Added a version where you can print each duct separately to prevent wastage in printing both ducts at the same time. Alternate, slightly more robust version of the Shendrones Squirt V2 Ducts. Print using 100% TPU, should work with PETG/Nylon better than the standard ones as well, as the lower walls of the ducts are slightly thicker.

UPDATE: I got tired of keeping the TPU straight, so I went to polycarbonate and made some adjustments for Rev 2. For anyone wondering where I'm getting these design principles, I stole them from a couple of white papers (see PDF files). 1) Shrank the gap down to .01 * the prop diameter 2) refined the inlet duct radius to .13 * prop diameter 3) brought the flow separator ring out from the wall to .5mm from .3mm and added exiting radius below. Design I remixed from the BetaFPV GoPro Lite base for the Beta85x/95x to fit on a gepRC Cinequeen 4k. I haven't printed it yet, but the base I remix from I have and it fit really well. Printing with TPU may close up the M2 screw holes in the back, just drill them out slightly. Hooks around front of top plate and sits snug in the curve behind FPV camera, mounts to existing frame holes. *UNTESTED SO FAR*
