I created this articulated, cartoonish octopus as a test of print-in-place chain links. It requires a larger printer bed to print at 100%, as each leg is connected to the body directly and can't be printed separately. This version includes a hole on the bottom end of each leg to allow a 3mm rare earth magnet to be inserted, allowing it to stick to metallic objects like refrigerators or computer cases. So i wanted to print a silly haggis model to give as a gift to a mate. Hmmm, thingiverse has no haggis models. Well, only one thing for it. Here you go. I hope this sparks off inspiration in someone. The quality of haggis models on thingiverse is, at time of typing, pretty low. I may update Hector as time passes. I may also bring myself to print Hector out one day.

The model was originally created by MustangDave and resculpted by Geoffro. I scaled it up 300% and cut the bottom off for wall hanging. The arm has been trimmed and a can be positioned on your printer in a number of ways to customise how slimer is coming through the wall. Remember to copy and flip the arm model to give you a left and right hand.

I modeled the skull to look similar to the wreaths at the Haunted Mansion. There is no back and the inside is hollow so you can put lights behind it to make it glow if you want. It's on a 24" wreath I got on clearance last year and the ribbons and bulbs were at a craft store. I've also added 16 pixels (LED lights) around the wreath and under the skull. I will have 3-4 of these as part of my Nightmare Before Christmas themed display/show. I drilled three small holes near the bottom to zip...
