If you have an assortment O-Rings but you need a specific one. It's always difficult to measure their sizes. This cone will help you to measure the inner size, the measures size go from 3mm to 22mm. And each corner can be used to measure width of the O-Ring. So this cone can be used for O-Rings from : - inner 3mm, outer 5mm and 1mm of diameter to : - inner 22mm, outer 29mm and 3.5mm of diameter

These cones make measuring the inner diameter of O-rings very easy and reliable for nonprofessional use. They're made for DIN3771 standard sizes. A Vernier caliper is needed to check the step diameter. I use the following sizing chart as a reference. http://www.prepol.com/PPE-Uploads/Oring_sizes_DIN3771.pdf

This slim issue begins the school year with an article on a successful alumnus - G. R. Lane. Agricultural articles pertain to the problem of an agricultural education contributing to rural flight, reforestation affecting farming in Quebec, and the profitability of lamb and wool. Other articles address the occupation of a proofreader, and insectivorous plants in Canada. Campus news reports on the new buildings constructed on campus, an obituary for Miss Annie Hallett, and new units of linear...

A CLOSED SYSTEM OF 22 EQUATIONS IS DERIVED TO DEFINE THE ENERGETICALLY OPTIMAL REALIZATION OF A TWO PULSE TRANSFER BETWEEN ELLIPTICAL ORBITS IN THE EQUATORIAL PLANE OF AN AXISYMMETRIC PLANET, WITH A CORRECTION FOR ACCURACY. ASSUMING THAT THE ZERO APPROXIMATION IS FOUND NUMERICALLY OR OTHERWISE, A LESS ERROR SENSITIVE TRANSFER IS ACCURATELY DERIVED, TO ACCOUNT FOR THE NONSPHERICITY OF THE PLANET IN QUESTION.

AN EXAMINATION IS MADE OF THE PROBLEM OF OPTIMIZING AMPLITUDE CHARACTERISTICS OF APPLIED SYSTEMS OF ELECTRIC IMAGE TRANSMISSION. IT IS CONCLUDED THAT THE CONTRAST SENSITIVITY OF APPLIED SYSTEMS OF ELECTRIC IMAGE TRANSMISSION MUST BE CHARACTERIZED BY THE TOTAL DIFFERENT HALFTONE GRADATIONS, AND BY THE CHANGE IN CONTRAST SENSITIVITY OVER THE DYNAMIC RANGE OF THE TRANSMITTED IMAGE.

An advanced orbit transfer vehicles (OTV) which will be an integral part of the national space transportation system to carry men and cargo between low Earth orbit and geosynchronous orbit will perform planetary transfers and deliver large acceleration limited space structures to high Earth orbits is reviewed. The establishment of an advanced propulsion technology base for an OTV for the mid 1990's is outlined. The program supports technology for three unique engine concepts. Work is conducted...

Optical emissions in single-collision, beam-beam reactions of fast (3-22 eV translational energy) O(P-3) atoms with C2H2 have been measured in the wavelength range 300-850 nm. Two features were observed, one with a peak wavelength at 431 nm, corresponding to the CH A (sup 2)Delta yields X (sup 2)Pi(sub r) transition, and a second weaker emission in the range 380-400 nm corresponding to the B (sup 2)Sigma(sup -) yields X (sup 2)Pi(sub r) transition. Both the A yields X and B yields X emissions...

The results of high time-resolution measurements of energetic electrons in an auroral break up are presented. Electrons with energies from 500 eV to over 100 keV and pitch angles from 0 to 150 deg were detected with two detectors onboard sounding rocket 18:63 UE. Complete energy spectra were taken every 0.1 seconds. The procedure for cleaning and activating the BeCu dynodes of a small, rugged, high gain electron multiplier is described. A theoretical study of the energy-angular response of a...

Observations regarding rotating cavitation and cavitation surge experienced during the development of the Fastrac engine turbopump are discussed. Detailed observations acquired from the analysis of both water flow and liquid oxygen test data are offered in this paper. Scaling and general comparison of rotating cavitation between water flow and liquid oxygen testing are discussed. Complex data features linking the localized rotating cavitation mechanism of the inducer to system surge components...

Octagonal fillet gauges Most fillet gauges are used to measure the curved corner of a rectangle (flat faces are at 90 degrees), but these fillet gauges are used to measure the curved corner of an octagon. (flat faces are at 135 degrees) Markings indicate the radius of the curve in mm. The SCAD files are included so you can easily resize/re-label/remix using OpenSCAD. --------------------------------- The "ngon" function code comes from the "Polygon areas.scad" example in...

In recent years, researchers have reformulated STRIPS planning problems as SAT problems or CSPs. In this paper, we discuss the Constraint-Based Interval Planning (CBIP) paradigm, which can represent planning problems incorporating interval time and resources. We describe how to reformulate mutual exclusion constraints for a CBIP-based system, the Extendible Uniform Remote Operations Planner Architecture (EUROPA). We show that reformulations involving dynamic variable domains restrict the...

A scheme for flicker noise generation is given. The second approach is that of successive segmentation: A clock fluctuation is represented by 2N piecewise linear segments and then converted into a summation of N1 triangular pulse train functions. The statistics of the clock instability are then formulated in terms of two sample variances at N1 specified averaging times. The summation converges very rapidly that a value of N 6 is seldom necessary. An application to radio interferometric geodesy...

We use our MoSST core dynamics model and geomagnetic field at the core-mantle boundary (CMB) continued downward from surface observations to investigate possibilities of geomagnetic data assimilation, so that model results and current geomagnetic observations can be used to predict geomagnetic secular variation in future. As the first attempt, we apply data insertion technique to examine evolution of the model solution that is modified by geomagnetic input. Our study demonstrate that, with a...
