This guide closes the sail entry to hold sail sliders on the mast. This guide is designed for John Mast Profile 125E that is used on International 806 sailing boats. There are two identical parts one for the lower half one for the upper. To insert/remove sail sliders you only need to remove one half. Printed it in PLA (3DJake ECO PLA) for testing, but it seems the mast does not get to hot to deform the part.

Self-designed sailboat hull using solidworks. The boat is still not completed, As soon as I can, I will add other components such as the keel, rudders, mast etc. The boat will be primarily a static model, but I can try to make also a RC model (In this case I will need time to make the necessary tests) . During the design period, it is possible that the actual components are updated or completely replaced.

Here is a design of the ship from Assassins Creed Odyssey Adrestia. The number of the parts are stated in the name of the parts. Shield ,brazier number optional because they are only cosmetics. You will need some cloth for the sails and something for ropes. If there is a huge need I can upload the body in pieces to you for a 200x200 printer. 500mm long x 250mm width x 400 mm height Eagle not included because it is from polymer clay. :) Happy printing.

Here is a pennant wind vane to be installed at the top of the mast of a dinghy sailboat. It is modeled after a a real bottom of the line Wind Vane. Mount a knitting needle at the top of your mast to use as a shaft and on which to put on the wind vane. The knitting needled should be 3.5mm as the mounting hole on the vane is 3.6mm. It has to bee loose to rotate freely. The indicator arms also work as a stop bush to prevent the wind vane to slide down. The hole on the arms is 3.5mm as it should be...

Written by McKean (Mac) Sinkler. Note To Listeners : My recordings are best listened to - if you have the nerve - with a hand near the volume and EQ controls. Throughout the years for whatever reasons, these recordings are often not leveled or mixed correctly, so listen and adjust as you feel necessary. Also, I have a very bad voice. I know this. I'm often flat, and otherwise off-key (much as I am, 'off-centered') and seemingly, not caring either. Just never put in 'the work'. Anyway, I'm...

Hi, this is a DIY frontal sonar anti collision system, a technology that is being developed for commercial ships and should work better than OSCAR system because that system even if it works and it's one step in the right direction, it only maps the surface while there are semi submerged containers and debris, and cetaceans and reefs. In contrast this system can be affordable and short range with low power consumption It can use a DOY sonar, or a cheap fishfinder or used depth transducers with...

Dividers are an essential tool while navigating with paper charts, yet things move around a lot on a boat and dividers tend to hurt when they slide off the chart and stab you in the leg! This is my solution for keeping dividers put without having to stow them back in the case every time; a simple little mount to drop them in with an arm that can slide over to lock them in place. I use hook and loop fasteners to hold this mount on the art board I use for navigation, but it could also be glued or...

LibriVox recording of The Wreck of the Corsaire by William Clark Russell. Read in English by Steven Seitel This book was published in 1897. I put the sail kit on my Hobie Outback kayak, and I needed to rig the sheet a little more nicely than Hobie suggested, so I got a couple cheap pulleys online, and I made these few parts to give me a fairlead and an easy way to attach one of the pulleys up front. Use this model as a fun project for kids or as part of a STEM activity. Have students design their own sails and try different mast positions to experiment with performance and stability. Check the second photo for parts. Axles are 2mm metal rods, 50mm long for rear axle and 14mm long for front axle. There's a jig for pressing the wheels onto the axles, it works but it's not great. Try if you want to otherwise you can also use a vice, g-clamp or hammer. This is my first time using...

This is a replacement handle for old and End of life Boat or Camping Windows. You can´t buy them anymore, so I decided to design a replacement part for these old handles (year 2000) Some used these Windows in older campers too. The first results of stability was ok with PLA printed @ 195°C with Supports, printing speed 50mm/s and 0,16mm resolution, heating bed 60°C and 35% of infill. For better stability you can use also PETG or Carbon Filament.

A small model of a boat, originally built in Ayr, that was rescued from a west coast Scottish beach. This was redrawn from a 3D scan of the real boat. I intend to name this boat 'Shearwater' when it is finally revived into seaworthy state. This could conceivably be made into a nice RC boat if printed at a larger scale as well. It doesn't have the textural issues that a wooden boat would have and could be sanded smooth to look like GRP. I'd recommend using a program meshmixer to separate out the...

Model of a race class sailing boat Mini Transat 6.5. based on the Ofcet 650 model. Bob Salmon developed the idea of a mini-transatlantic race in the late 1970s in England with the intent of promoting affordable offshore solo racing. It was partially conceived as a response to the trend for bigger and more expensive boats such as sailed in the OSTAR race that seemed to exclude ocean racing for sailors with moderate budgets. Three boats for dungeons and dragons, all remixed from other files found on thingiverse. The biggest boat has a base that is approximately three inches, the smallest has a one inch base, and the in-between size has a base that is about two inches long.

This is a vented port for a 6" inspection port. I use it for off season storage of my Sunfish so the inside can air and dry out. It works and fits pretty good. I printed it with supports on account of the threads, but maybe you could get away without it? Maybe not.
