October 30, 1996 was an interesting night in primetime history, not only having the only aired episode of Public Morals, but also featuring the last episode of Almost Perfect after lasting just four episodes into its second season. The script turned out quite ironic with regards to the series' fate, courtesy of guest star Marie Osmond. There were six additional episodes produced, but were only seen on a few markets in syndication.

Here is the final episode of a short-lived sitcom, lasting just three months in late 1998. The Army Show concerns Sgt. Dave (David Anthony Hopkins) who ran the mail depot at Fort Bendix, Florida and was in charge of some misfits while he treckled around Col. Henchy and Lt. Handy. Most critics panned the show as too flat and banal, but here is an episode for you to enjoy.

This was Ted Danson's first series since Cheers, but given the problems with the pilot, the original producers were scrapped by the network for Diane English of Murphy Brown, and cast changes prior to the premiere led to less than pleasing ratings.
