This is a remix of a smaller model. Scaled up by a factor of 2.085 to accommodate 12" blades. All parts scaled to fit and use #6-32 and 608zz bearings and a 5/16"-18 threaded rod. This is a replacement wind pennant for the C-vane Wind Pennant (http://c-vane.com). These things break easily, as they are the most fragile part of the assembly. So, instead of paying $35 for a whole new wind pennant, you can just replace the part that broke (or was lost, stolen, etc.)! A derivative, maintaining the assembly procedure, but hopefully improving the aerodynamics. Includes a drop-in replacement, in which the wing profile is swept to make a smoother surface. this is a VAWT I made at the local fablab(protospace) according to the labmanager the twist in the blades removes the pulsating noise the normal darieus makes. it`s made in openscad but the code is a little messy.(apart from openscad I only wrote some hello world like things for python tutorial exercises)
