This is a remix of Mquin123's excellent [1" Bias Tape Maker](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2368323). A clip has been added so it can be clipped to a rotary mat and the fabric fed into a laminator for (somewhat) automated making of 1" bias tape. *Update: Added Faster_5cm_bias_tape_maker_w_clip.stl based of ongaroo's also excellent [faster-print bias tape maker](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4234257). Again, modified to clip onto a rotary mat. Since I'm batching these out for...

My first remix of the original design by dirtyvalentine (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4268859) removed too much of the structure near the tabs. With layer lines in the shear direction of the tabs, they were snapping off. Added some fillets and removed less material.

# This is a remix The bias tape maker by [DaintyThings](https://www.thingiverse.com/DaintyThings) is great! It's a compact form-factor and does the double fold in one printable piece. My partner liked the ability to pin down the tool (seen in in [this bias-tape maker](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4292451)), so I added two more 'wings' and holes to allow you to do so. My skill level with tuning the printer is at the beginning stage - so the first print would curl up really bad, especially...

Sliced off the top 2 mm or so, to make the model slightly faster to print. Without the slightly tapered point, the printer doesn't have to keep slowing down to print the increasingly smaller layers at the very top. Doing this saves a negligible amount of plastic, but reduced the print time from 22 minutes to 17 minutes.

Removed wings, because people don't need them. The wings limited you to putting it one direction. This way you can double side tape it down any direction you want. Also, removed a ton of material from the sides to save on printing expense.

This was designed to help make continuous bias binding tape. The tool is made with a customiser using OpenSCAD. So you can download the .scad file and run it in OpenSCAD - where you can set the values you need for your specific bias binding needs. There are three pdf files included. They show how to measure, cut, and sew a long length of bias binding using an exact amount of square fabric. There are tables included for inches and mm dimensions. The method means you make a tube and make one...

Remake of "4cm Bias Tape Maker" by GazdaTony Redesigned to have notches on the edges to make it easier to pin to ironing board. Worked well in my testing. The 2.5" design is a little bit tricky to work with, so I'm still working on and testing it. Added little tabs to connect the bottom notches for more secure printing. These would be cut off after printing. These files are indicated with the word "Tabs" in the file names. Insert a strip of fabric in the loading end (it...

Simply resized for standard measurements. Prints very nicely. Currently being used to aid in relief efforts for COVID-19 masks! This is a remix of bias tape maker from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3880491 by Oscarko for 4cm tape Technically a remix of a remix since I based this on GazdaTony's model

For exact details see the original project. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4234257 I just added lables to every part to make them easy to identify once they are printed. They print just fine with my SLA-Printer (Elegoo Mars) but should also work with fdm. If you like this attribution please give ongaroo as the original creator some appritiation as well as he did the mayority of the work.

This is a tool for making Bias tape. This also works fine with non-bias cut fabric strips. The tool will take a 1.50" wide strip of fabric and fold the sides to make hems and straps on fabric masks. It does not fold the tape in the center, but leaves a gap to allow easier folding by hand. You can use the tool with or without an iron. To use without an iron, pull the fabric back along the "bottom" of the tool as shown in the second picture. TIP FOR STARTING: (see fourth picture)...

I have not changed any of the function of the design - I only cut away extra material to reduce print time. With an infill of 5%, the extra bulk was not really adding any structure. I have not actually printed one yet, but I have it in queue for my next print. Note: Since the functioning design did not change, the Loader is the same file as the original design.

Bias tape makers with attachment points, remixed and redesigned from several other places. OpenSCAD, to the extent possible. I've typed this like 4 times already; check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TLd0hFDx40 and read the readme on the Git repo. Or just print BiasTapeHalf_mod_1.stl and Double_Folder_mod_1.stl however you want, feed 1" cloth through the first, under an iron, through the second, and into a sewing machine. Maybe separate the two stages, though, running both an...

This design is based on requests from people sewing straps for the Million Mask Challenge. It can be pinned to an ironing board to free up a hand so the bias tape can be pressed while you pull it through the guide. There are two version, 4 cm and 5 cm input width.

Changes - Seperated the components for printing with different infill and better use of print bed. The connectors and the fabric arm should have more infill to make them a bit stronger- I printed them at 50% infill 0.15 layer height in Material PTG The bodies - I made the holes for the connectors and the fabric are just a bit larger. they will be tight but not so tight that anything should break. I also added a footed version. you may need to cut a little flashing off the holes that may be left...

DISCLAIMER: This is a work in progress - it's a bit hard to get the fabric in and some patience is required. Works better with fabric that's not too thick You may want to use a needle to get the fabric though the tunnel when inserting it

I tried first to print some bias tape folder that was posted previously by others on TW but for some reason or other all the files would have non-manifold geometry, non printable sides etc, and it would in general freak out my slicer so I decide to make my very own from scratch and properly at last. It has little wings that can be used to attach it to sewing machine with a tape so you can create bias tape and sew it all on the same time. On the picture with my machine you would normally have to...

I created this bias tape maker to cut down my bias tape making time. I'm using it to make bias tape to use for edges and or ties for COVID-face masks. I am quite excited at how well it worked. I have some metal bias tape makers but no matter how slow I go it the fabric get's all twisted up and comes out very wavy so I was doing it by hand burning my fingers and it takes so long folding it all by hand. This is much faster and much more precise for me. I hope it works as well for others as it...

This attachment uses formed 25 mm thickness bias tape and feeds it to the front of the sewing machine. It can be glued / taped at the needed position and accepts thicker material (like quilted fabric) because the opening is 8 mm wide.

This is a tool to help fold your jelly roll fabric and batting strips when sewing a jelly roll rug. I have included pictures showing how to use it. I used to use Wonder Clips and I have found that this significantly speeds up the process. To keep the fabric straight before you pull the sasher down your strip, it helps to fold a spot near the bottom of the section and hold it taut with the needle in the down position to help keep the fabric from shifting. This will line up the fabric so when you...

Recently I used bias tape maker posted by Oscarco https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3880491 It makes fine tape but I needed the double fold tape. So I designed this little maker. To make a double fold tape you have to iron the bias tape made by first maker by Oscarco. Then load the bias tape into the second maker to make second fold tape. The product is double fold tape ready for second ironing. It has little wings that can be used to attach it to ironing board. I used some thick paper lining...
