I needed to cover an exposed rotating shaft end so I whipped up this simple guard to keep grease in and clothing from being caught up in the bearing. The guard presses into the bearing with a 50mm ID recess in the housing casting. This part is likely only useful for my application, but I'll share it anyways!

I found the FK KP000 to be a handy part to have in designing a 3D printer mechanism, so I made a CAD file of it. Available as STL for 3D previews here, in AD_PRT (Geomagic Design) and STEP. This is a leadscrew block replacement for the one modeled on the Farmbot ver 1.3 and older systems. This allows you to use the standard leadscrew nut in your build and have it attached to the carriage plate on the cross-slide. I found that the LM8UU bearings would wobble in the factory pillow block due to their being too much play in the bearings. I created a design that will hold the bearings in place much better and gives a tighter fit and has eliminated the wobble that I was getting. You'll need to print a total of 4 of these.

Plate to mount a 608 pillow block bearing on a NEMA 17 flange. I made 2 copies of my Z axis motor mounts (4 brackets) and use 2 for the motors and 2 for far end lead screw support. With hub xxx and adjustable pulley https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3097002 I will be able to synchronize the 2 motors.

Pillow block for 608 bearings. The internal diameter is 22mm, it has two 4mm mounting holes at 40mm spacing. Overall width is 50mm, height is 28mm and depth is 9mm. It has an internal lip to retain the bearing, which is 2mm thick and has 18mm internal diameter. The rotation axis is 14mm above the mounting base. Here is a classic pillow shaped project foot. The files below include a single of the 20mm and 15mm square base, plus a 4-up file of the 20mm size. The 15mm version was an after thought. I tried doing a 10mm sized foot, but it printed poorly (not sure why, probably some SkeinForge settings).

Made this to sit on top of a dehydrator tray and hold the bottom race of a 52mm x 35mm x 12mm thrust bearing (specifically [this one](https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00E0ERR6W)). Includes little indents to make removing the race easier. Made this to fit on top of a dehydrator tray (to hopefully eventually hold a spool holder).
