The terms of reference of Hospital Visiting Committee shall
be as under :

1. To look into points of public contact viz.- O.P.D., Casualty,

O.P.D.Pharmacy and suggest ways and meansfor improvement.

relatives of patients and organise Hospitals welfare.

In the Government Order No. 7/ 23 /99 - PER , dated 18-8-1999 , the
following sentence shall be added . “ The Director of Wildlife &
Eco - Tourism shall function as Divisional Forest Officer."

4. To inspect the premises and study generalworking ofHospitals/

and suggest measures to remove the defects , if any .

schedule of 8 hours a day computed on weekly average basis.

(Act 7 of 1969) (hereinafter called the said Act), the Government ofGoa
hereby notifies Rs. 20,000/- as the amount for the purposes of said clause
(b ) of proviso to sub -section ( 3 ) of section 89 of the said Act.

7. To specifically look into the aspect as to whether the equipments

provided in the hospitals are in working order or not and what
steps have been taken by the management to have the defect
rectified in order to avoid hardships to the patients and this
would also include the ambulances . --
